How to get to Stiniva beach?

Stiniva beach is located in at the southern part of the island Vis close to the small place Plisko polje and Marinje Zemlje and it can be reached by boat or by foot.

By boat

Stiniva beach is surrounded with two high cliffs that are, in their closest point, distanced only 4 meters and form a unique “sea entrance”. During the summer peak at July and August, you will notice a lot of boats in front of the bay and you can either rent a boat or book your place at one of the many boat day tours from Vis, Hvar and other destinations that include visit to Stiniva cove. If you plan to come with a boat please bear in mind that the sea is too shallow for boats and yacht with deeper ford. Under the section Boat tours you can find out more information about the renting a boat and boat tours.

On foot

If you want to discover the natural beauties of the Stiniva cove by foot, you need to take a drive to Pliško polje and from there follow the signs to Žužeca hamlet. There is a parking lot where you can leave your car and from that point you have to walk for about 20 minutes along the goat path that leads to this beautiful pebble beach.  Before you go on foot, please have in mind that the path is very narrow and demanding so we would not recommend it to parents with small children and older people. The climb up to the car can be very demanding and tough. It would be wise to avoid walking when the sun is high and be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking.
